Working Requirements of Foreign Teachers
Foreign teachers shall observe the laws, decrees and relevant regulations enacted by the Chinese government and shall observe the college's work system and regulations concerning administration of foreign teachers and shall accept the college's arrangement, direction, supervision and evaluation in regard to his/her work.
Foreign teachers shall respect China's religious policy, and shall not conduct religious activities incompatible with the status of a teacher.
Foreign teachers are expected to complete the required tasks in time and guarantee the quality of work. Foreign teachers are not allowed to change the schedule in order to travel around.
The work time of the foreign teachers is 5 days every week.
If the foreign teacher asks for sick or personal leave, he/she should present the diagnosis or apply in writing for the permission from the dean of the department. If he/she has to leave school during his/her absence from work, he/she needs to get permission from the Foreign Affairs Office as well and inform the office of his/her schedule.
Foreign teachers can only accommodate others in his/her room when permission from the Foreign Affairs Office is granted and relevant procedures are done according to regulations.
Foreign teachers should be responsible for the safety of his/her own life and properties. Any unsafe conditions should be reported to the office immediately.
Foreign teachers shall return all the belongings of the college and ensure they are all in good conditions.
